COB start writing new album

I just want to know what he thinks is a better metal album this year.

Wonder how good the last songs will be, after the sample/review is being postponed and this guy not even mentioning it. Track 8 is supposed to contain the best Bodom riff and track 9 is said to be one of the best and FTR'ish... so they can't be so bad.
 
Well there are Suffocation, Immolation and SFU albums, all are ok/good and those names are bigger than COB I can bet. Among the smaller bands and less successful releases are: Hypocrisy, Arsis, October Tide, Rotting Christ; probably still to come: Annihilator, Monstrosity, Autopsy, maybe Opeth, goddamn fucking Necrophagist (1% critical hit I want to believe). So yeah, if Bodom delivers and hits with their all time best then maybe.
ps: Blood Red Throne also, yesterday was the day I believe.

COB are one of my favourite metal bands but to say HOB will be aoty is a massive stretch imo. there have already been so many sweet albums released this year like new Soilwork and The Ocean.
 
Actually I doubt it will be Finland's album of the year as Amorphis and Torture Killer already produced a brilliant work each.

Dark Tranquillity brings nothing new to the table. Same goes for Amon Amarth.
It's the same album over and over and over. But it's one great album, so they've got that going for them.
 
So guys what do u prefer honnestly? a different album compared to the old ones or the same album over and over like FTR 1, FTR2, FTR3 ...
 
So... just give me one song from any of those bands' new albums that surpasses or even equals the material heard from HoB so far? I'm a fan of Hypocrisy and also Amon Amarth, but go ahead, please, try to impress me with those other bands.
 
What are you trying to start here mate? To each his own yknow, I could provide you with some tracks from those albums that surpass most of the stuff COB has ever done IN MY OPINION - so what?

This is just so stupid thing to write... It is all about tastes, man...
And to give you a song that for me surpasses HOB material anytime so far, go and check out Solarflesh song by Hate (title track of the last album).

And I'm not sure why do I even reply. Your posts could be well written by 13 years old kid trying to prove 'his' band is the best. 7 more years and he would get it, he was making fool of himself.

I would love a completely different album. When bands stick to one sound forever it gets very boring very fast. That's what I like about Bodom. Every album sounds different but they all have cool stuff, and I would very much prefer a completely different album than a FTR 2.

And on the finding better songs than Bodom note, music is complete opinion and there's no "best" album

Are you serious? To most people this song is better than anything Bodom has ever released



Would you dare to say that everyone that agrees with that statement is wrong because, you as, an individual, have a different opinion? There's no point in giving you a song from other band's new albums because they are songs that I PERSONALLY think are better, I'm not wrong, I'm not right, because there is no wrong or right in music.

Well I really see no point here because what I've heard from Bodom so far is good and promising and stuff, but it's nothing special, therefore I reckon dozens of songs are better. No offense, I rather post these so you could just listen to some good music:
