COB start writing new album

There is also new Behemoth album coming, and Alexi can shit himself but he won't beat it;)

That's like saying to a football fan that he can suck it because the Champions League can try as hard as it want but it will never be like a Stanley Cup Final game 7 or a (good) World Championship's Final, and this comes from a hockey fan as you may guess: it's comparing apple and oranges. I like both bands but to me everything COB's written easily tops anything Behemoth's written because I like that style more. For a black/death metal/blastbeats fan (like you apparently) it'll always be the other way around. Who's right? None of us. Now if we talk Rhapsody, they just plainly suck :)

This is exactly why I said this was stupid thing to ask.
The question was if there is anything better than HOB material, and there - for me there is plenty. Hate's Solarflesh for instance. Even though it is not like I'm only blastbeats fan, CoB is at the top for me anyway.

Now question "give me something from their genere" would be entirely different story.

^^Said the same before deleting my post... It can be upsetting to talk about your personal art in an uncomfortable situation, if there's emotion and symbolism and stuff in it. If you don't care about your art or are not satisfied with it, you can just get drunk and be bored and annoyed. When it's an intellect deep interview he could calm down and be himself with confidence, talk deep, but this kind of situations aren't organized really. And when the situation isn't comfortable and still demands him to talk deep, it's unsettling.

LOL I just wanted to say that, but you already did it( you can express more yourself with words and im just lazy). Alexi is so much greater if he uses his brain to write songs. Not for something else

I wonder how would he be different if he wasn't sober? He'd just curse more. It's just these times this arty farty shite seems to interest him more than in the last years. You can tell from Alexi's eyes and body language he's honestly pleased with this album. It's just the acting and marketing-trendy interviews are a part of the business he has to endure, and maybe he can handle it better while sober. He could do one interview easier by being drunk, but then the next days are even worse.

I think it has a lot to do with it, If you look at the interview with Kerrang where him and Janne talk about Christmas in Finland etc. that's the normal Alexi. I often get the impression that when he is completely sober he is a lot quieter. I don't think he is being shy/nervous/quiet based on how he feels about the music.

Haha I was watching that today. Made me hungry when they brought up salmon. Do Scandinavians prepare their salmon different? I was at a restaurant that served a "Norwegian" style salmon. Best damn thing I've ever eaten.

Norwegian salmon, the pale red one, is realllly fucking good when you ripen it with sea salt, white and black pepper, some sugar, dill, lemon... I like to do that sometimes. Put slices of that on a piece of dark bread with a slice of avocado and some herb salt, serve with a beer...

You sir, are a bad person. I haven't eaten any breakfast yet. Judging by amount of work, it may stay this way, and I'm reading about fucking norwegian salmon on CoB forums. Thank you very much!

Salmon is the greatest fish ever. Great on black bread, white bread, as a snack, grilled, fried, cooked and to top it all off it's pure sex as a sashimi.

Fucking salmons, man.
