Dreams

How does that work with the semi waking up and falling asleep again? I swear I've had phone conversations, fallen back to sleep, and continued the same dream! Of course since i was half asleep the phone conversation was pretty much: "Hello, is Carolyn there?" "URRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" "I'll call back."

I don't really remember dreams nowdays... though I do remember a few from childhood. Strange.

for sure, haha!

:loco: it's cause i read a lot of fantasy literature (being generous with that term in some cases) back then. and played King's Quest VI.

I always remember mine when I sleep properly, i.e. until i wake up naturally with no alarm or asshole wakin me up. I suppose in sleeping for like, 4 hours a night you're less likely to get to that dream state though.

However, that 4-5 hours before you dream at all stuff is bullshit 'cause I've fallen asleep in class and had dreams, and my classes are at most 2 hours long!

hehe... I remember when I was working at the paper facility (how do you call this?) I was sometimes dreaming that I was working there, doing the job I usually do there

lol..man, that'd be lame. i never have these "normal" dreams. they almost always involve people that don't actually exist. my girlfriend of almost 3 years has been in my dreams like 25 times tops. my family, almost never. i also never have sex dreams, though i hear you have them more if you dont have sex or jerk it for a while. i'm SCREWED!

I do this every now and then (If the phone is nearby so I don't have to get up to answer) and I'm usually pissed off too.. My brother, on the other hand, does it VERY often and I've experienced it both calling him and being there as he gets called. He answers, replies to every question with something completely unrelated or "idunno" in a very funny voice, hangs up when he feels like it and goes right back to sleep and never ever remembers he even talked to someone. He also sleeps with his eyes open.

lol weird. i always remember who i talked to, mostly so i can bitch at them for waking me up.

What about that feeling when you're half asleep and all of a sudden feel like you're falling for a second? Fuckin creepy, and cool.

I woke up at some ungodly hour last night/this morning convinced that I had fallen asleep at a neighbours house and completely freaked out, I jumped out of bed and ran to my door because I could hear voices on the other side, and I wanted to ask them why they didn't wake me up. As soon as I opened it I realised I was at home and there was no-one on the other side of the door, so I just went back to bed.

More to come...

One morning I woke up and remembered having quite a long conversation with someone in my room, but couldn't remember any of what was said, or who it was.
The weirdest one ever was a dream where I was standing below a crumbling brick wall and was trying to dodge all the falling rocks, I looked up and saw a big one hurtling straight for me, suddenly the rock wall became my bedroom wall and I jumped out of bed and hid in the corner. I cowered there for a while, covering my head and wondering why I was in intense pain. After a while I realised I was safe, but I had a whopper of a lump coming up on my forehead, right where the rock hit me in the dream! I stumbled around for a while, then went back to bed and woke up the next morning with a nasty bruise, not to mention very confused.

Beat that.

Yeah, i get that falling thing all the time...

haha, you hit your head on the wall or something, I wake up with random bruises all the time. Then again, I have a wall on 3 sides.

Oh shit, I just woke up and my dreams are fading already, but they were VERY cool as usual. Always some long elaborate thing, usually involving me comitting some kind of criminal activity.

I don't get the sensation of falling too often, but approximately once a month I have very realistic, though usually with some bizarre impossibility thrown in, dreams that last for hours on end, or nightmares occuring almost immediately after the onset of sleep, one of which I unsuccessfully attempted to make a story out of.
