american football takes tons of skill

most people dont realize that if one person screws up on a single play it could change the entire game

Indeed.

And in rugby if one person screws up play they don't stop, say "times outsy." and change their sides again so they can be better prepared for the coming attack.

In rugby, you've gotta get organised quick, or you're gonna get arse raped.

Arguing that one inherently takes more skill than the other is ridiculous. North American football is a great sport, Rugby (though I am not familiar with it) is probably a great sport as well. And since both are sports, both require a significant level of skill to become extremely good at.[/end debate]

I'd argue that easily soccer is the most talent-demanding sport, while American Football is more about being in Phsyical condition than being mroe talented.
