Also on a side note, some of the bands of death metal yore looked as scene as any scene band looks today, tight pants, chucks, vests, scarves, head bands, big ass hair, now they have long regular hair and dress normally and have beards because they changed for the death metal scene, thats pretty much the definition of poser in your book. So you guys are pretty much hypocrites and you drive people away from good death metal because you act like as big of faggots as the OP and scene kids saying deathcore is the real metal and death metal is just unintelligible growls and static.

Metallica made good albums. Slayer made great albums. I like good metal so I listen to albums by both bands. I'd rather be an "old dad-core wanker" (whatever the fuck that means) then a trendy hipster new-age "death metal" fan.

Late 80s/early 90s death metal obviously had a scene but what it DID have that deathcore doesn't is spirit and conviction. Death metal isn't a party kid.
