I bought a new car (the "I wanna be like Gugs" thread)...

New Skylines will be around $80,000. That's right. EIGHTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. For a Nissan.

@ skyline pricing ...really? ... so basically mid-life crisis guys will buy it rather than the ricers.
\
good

The only people I know that can afford a car with that price tag are 50 year old physicians....and they drive Lexus and Audi sedans, not Nissans.

Yeah I read it will be at least $70k, but probably worth it. I mean, I guess. I wouldn't buy one, but not because it's an expensive Datsun.

LOL @ American Consumers because they won't spend more than $30k on a Toyota but will gladly buy a $60k Lexus. Fucking MORONS.

I hate the FJ Cruiser. The Land Cruiser is the worlds most awesome machine. It costs $60,000 though so NEVER MIND, TOYOTA
Was, you mean. After 1997 it turned into luxocrap. My favourite is the FJ60, but even the FJ80 was pretty rad. I almost bought one a week ago because it was dirt cheap, but decided not to.

IFS = bullshit

LOL @ Lexus period. I can't stand Lexus.

The Skyline will cost as much as a Z06. Frankly, if I have enough money to buy something like that, I'll just plop another $20k on top and buy a superior (on the race-track, anyway) GT3.

Well, yeah, it's a different machine nowadays. Still awesome though. Not a Wrangler, but Jesus, you can barely drive one of those on paved roads.

I totally drove a Wrangler soft top in The Valley of Death itself with a massive sidewind at 75mph, it wasn't bad at all to drive.

Then again, I used to drive a Samurai in college, and believe you me, I know vehicles that can't be driven on the street. :loco:

Yeah, and I almost ended up in a ditch. :loco:

Seriously though, a Samurai is much scarier on the street than a Wrangler. Not that I would want either as daily driver anymore, but when I was 19 I didn't give a shit about driving the 2,000 pound Tipster of Death at 75mph (downhill only).

LOL @ Tipster of Death.

BTW, before you make your next car purchase, keep in mind that youre reaching high levels of potential parenthood. Just something to keep in mind when making large purchases from now on.

Seriously though, pulling out totally works. I relied on that with a girlfriend for like 2 years, neither one of us got pregnant. :Spin:

I thought I was too because I did the same thing you did awhile back, except I didnt even bother doing the pulling-out part

hahaha

"Dude pulling out doesn't work!"
"Really?"
"Yeah, because when you don't pull out, the whole thing goes to shit."

I'm sporting a luxurious 1996 Honda Civic that has a serious case of the tremors while driving on the highway between 50-60 m.p.h. Paid 4k, tacked on 40,000 in mileage, and have not broken down in beantown once. 80k, scratch that 60k, eh scratch that again 40k, better make that 20k, ahhh you know what let's go with a nice round ball figure...10k. That is the most I would ever spend on a mode of transportation.
