I need to get some kind of all-terrain, towing vehicle. My Accord just isnt built for riding down muddy access roads in state parks. Ideally I would want something like a Jeep Cherokee, but Im not adverse to pickup's either.
Nice pics lurch. The car looks great.
My lease is up in April. And because I love buying new cars, I couldn't help but start my shopping. On the short list at present are the Jetta GLI, the Infiniti G35 and the Lexus IS250 or 350. Mind you, I've yet to drive any of these cars. So far, this list is based on appearance, options, and reviews.

Dude, you drive a Ranger. Tell Ferd to make that truck but with the same drivetrain as an F-250, or sizeably comparable.
i agree ... if you are in $35K land that's Beemer territory ...
The new Accord has some 280 hp for around $30,000 right?
Zod, if you gots the money, buy something ridiculous like a 911 or a used Ferrari. Then post pics of it after you crash.
LOL... noted.Greg, that IS250 is also junk. Stay away from Lexus, don't be one of "those guys", and by those guys, I mean middle-aged Jewish women from Long Island.
I guess it's one of those things where what I can afford and what I'm willing to pay for, are different. Paula and I are looking to retire in 10 years, 15 years if things don't go as well as we like. Given what a bad investment cars are, $45K for the new BMW 335 just doesn't make sense. Now granted, if that's my position, why not just by a Honda Civic and keep it for the next 10 - 15 years? I happen to love cars, and what I drive is important to me. So, I'm trying to find a happy medium. You make the bucks, go with either BMW's x-series, or the Infiniti G35X, and then let me drive it.
I've never been a huge fan of BMW styling. However, the new 335s are pretty sweet. Since I'm looking at $35K as my absolute limit, I may look at what's available in pre-owned BMWs as well.Greg, in all seriousness, and I forget if we've had this discussion before, but have you ever driven a BMW for any length of time? Because trust me when I tell you this, once you go German handling & engineering, you'll remember why you got a driver's license all those years ago. And I do mean ALL THOSE YEARS AGO. And no, it wasn't to go on Mickey D's runs during study hall.
Yeah... for like 8 months. When my niece moved in, I sold it. My wife drives a Mini, and between the two of us, that meant we effectively owned two 2-seaters.Zod, didn't you tell me you once had a Mach 1?
