I can still remember the music clearly off of the Nevermore records I've heard, while the Bodom ones faded almost immediately. Memorability is a big plus in music for me!

That clip of nevermore is awesome. I love their music and have every CD they made. I can't wait till this cd comes out, there's so many great cds coming out there year!

I respect COB's technical skill, but I just can't say their songs are on par with Nevermore and Opeth. The songwriting and composition do it for me, and NEVERMORE and OPETH do it PERFECTLY! I love hearing shredding solos, but just shred gets boring to me. I'd rather hear well place riffs and one solo, than a 5 min song full of sweeping. But hey I wanna be a shredder one day, but I also wanna compose good music.

Beh.. Each band plays their own stuff.. Opeth couldn't play CoB just like CoB might not be able to play opeth stuff. (eh) And CoB couldn't play Nevermore stuff, and Nevermore couldn't play CoB stuff.

CoB is like In Flames though. Yes, their new thing sucked. Everything after Follow the Reaper sucks and it's not worth buying. -_-
