well, I can see it´s a lot of extra work. and since, I´m guessing, most germans are good enough at english it shouldn´t really be necessary. but quite interesting, maybe, to see how they differ...

no, not that way. A bit easier. Everyone has his/her bands taking care of, meaning, where someone wrote already reviews or made interviews. So if there come in new CDs or interview possibilities, it will be the same person (for example we have some die-hard Crüxshadows-fans amongst us).
HIM is already "taken", that means, for that mag, I´ll never get to interview them (they would be the crown of my "career", now seriously, no kidding.).

When I joined the team (as the metal-head), I thought what I would like to do, and the first opportunity happening was an oomph!-gig, so I just applied for an interview and it worked. That way. So no-one else will do interviews with them as long as I work there. And when I make new things, like actually all the artists mentioned in my sig, then this is my area, and I take care getting the appointments. Same goes for everyone else. No signing up nowhere Of course we have some plans for the future and discuss them, so there won´t be mess about who does what. It is not so complicated, as we have a very mixed team, where everyone has different interests, only few bands are the same to some people.

i talk too much. not necessarily in person (do i, hyena?) but certainly in medium-to-long distance communications, where it's very important to know exactly when shutting up and waiting is the best thing you can do, because otherwise you can go on forever and most of all long after the lights are off and the stage is empty (except from you) and the audience is already home safely sleeping in their beds.
by reading books that focus on the rather good idea of not spilling your guts all at once (try out "borderliners" by peter hoeg) one would think i would have achieved some sort of basic knowledge about silence, pauses, and their prudent use. but no. leave me fifteen minutes alone with any means of communication with the outside world and you can bet your fluffy pink merry bottom that i'm going to say way more than it is wise to, way sooner than it is wise to, with the precious candid naivety of the toddler sticking both of his hands in the running lawnmower's spinning blades.
it's not that my utterances themselves create turmoil. i can handle my utterances (unless i'm drunk) and predict their effect to a reasonable degree because i'm probably not entirely stupid, but of course i'm giving everyone a huge advantage both by being the one acting like an upturned bottle of the sweet nectar of cows and by letting them know i can't keep it in for long enough to create a strategy that is sensibly better than any they might come up with. usually this bonus is not as useful as it sounds because i'm still rather proficient at strategies, yet there's the odd occasion where i trap myself in a tight spot due to my habit. and this sucks.

@rahvin: no, you don't talk too much. and let me say that strategies are not always needed, because handling people is not always needed. there's some precious situations that call for sincere expression of oneself, as the receiving end of your communication is not evil. i know it's hard to believe, but spes ultima dea, as my mom somewhat unkindly said when i told her that i don't really have a chance at my exam.

NF: Pissy. I volunteered myself on a project. The other people are very impatient and expects me to do stuff like if I can whip something up in a matter of seconds. The fact of the matter is, I'm building a website, completely from scratch. It takes a lot of time to get everything right and look its very best. Yeah, there's a certain 'artform' into making a website and being a meticulous person that I am, I have patience and pride in the work I do. I wish the other people understand that working for free costs time. I'm working for free and they should be considerate that I have my own life going on, juggling between 20 different things that's going on in my life all at once.
