@fire: well, i hope i didn't sound judgemental. i was interested. i want to understand because that's so distant from me - i tried working for free in a punk record label this year, and mind you: i love punk and i don't even need the extra money, but i found that i can't really focus on a project unless it can be translated in figures. that's why i was asking.

okay. Hm, but still don´t really get then what you are aiming at. That you don´t understand how people can work for free because the money drives you? I mean in the way that you feel better when you have concrete figures related to the work done?

Even though I am pretty perceptive, this time I don´t understand.
I just do it because to me it makes very much sense. But I feel unable to explain every thing around it...
