you guys are so sweet. :) the idea of you people talking about me at night when you're lying naked in your double-bed gently hugging each other is especially soothing. :p

i'm rather ok. i'm just facing a few changes in my life, things i want to be different and things that hopefully can be different. but i don't really feel like going all public about it on this board anymore: i know i did so a lot in the past, but now it seems to me like parading my experiences, or wishes, and at the moment i think they need to be cuddled instead of being thrown off the nest. as soon as i have a bit more time (i've just got back to work today, so paperwork did what paperwork usually does and piled up on my desk) i'd be happy to share private pillow talk with you people, though, by either mail or through the sheer power of luv. i'm so fluffy i embarrass myself: i'll go wash my hands 3 or 4 times now, just because it brings a smile to my face. :goggly:

I'm with Steve - Europe can wait, it won't run away ;) but a good opportunity that might also hold a part of your future would if you choose against.

NF: why are all bus drivers idiots? for 9 years now I've been riding the bus along the same route. EVERY year, EVERY winter, either in the morning or in the evening, or both on the same day, this happens:
there's a place where the bus has to turn and go back the same way again, and this place is someone's driveway (hey I live in the middle of nowhere - come visit me and I'll give you the wonderful tour by bus of the villages around here, and the amazing planning of roads which makes this particular turn necessary), which means the bus has to back down the driveway, and then drive out again in the other direction.
so. this usually works during summer. but in the winter there's ICE. which is something I assume most bus drivers aren't familiar with. because EVERY winter, EVERY day, they get stuck on that godforsaken driveway. The many impotent attempts at getting the bus out of there can last between 10-30 minutes.
And it never fails. EVERY bus driver does this, regardless of how much experience they've had of that bloody driveway, EVERY day. It's getting to the point where I, next time it happens, will break down laughing, rolling on the bus floor, a laugh born out of true despair of what has become of humanity.

 I know about many jobs in which people are forced to do stupid things by working manuals, if they try and find a better way around it, they are reprimanded.

If I was the bus driver I wouldn't put up with that shit...
They either make me a nice continuous road, or they get me a set of twin flamethrowers installed at the front and bottom of the bus.
Hey at least you kids can have fun as your formerly-boring means of transportation now plows through, decimating ice and snow ..and annoying neighborhood dwellers out for a walk :heh:
: p

 bus drivers are horrible here too, some days ago i found one that wasn't able to drive without pushing the brakes like every 5 meters, i spent my time there trying to guess on which one of the persons around me i was going to fall

NF: bad. but i'm not sure i can avoid school today
