I can be Phoebe! *sing a song of rats* lalala
I've never met any long time member of this board. No hot forum member guys for me.
@Benny: May the doctor's appointment go well and your eye heals.
Looking back, I wish I could have stood up for myself and told them off for dissing me. It would have given my self esteem a boost to be able to speak my mind to these people, and formally denounce their "friendships" with me.
Just my opinion though. I would try it out now... but I don't have any false friends. Good thing.
P.S. I hope you feel better soon.
@hyena, Hij, Kovenant, and Child of Time: thanks for the advice.
I did drop a few hints by helping him with his work and being nice. He did smile at me a few times and was watching me as I left the class. So he may be sweatin' me as well.
but then again, he may have been staring at my cleavage (I was dressed my usual way for the weekend
). I may take a risk and drop a few hints I like him, but not anything too obvious and I'll see how he reacts.
@CoT: your ill feeling should go away soon with luck.
You like being courted... do you happen to be my classmate?
j/k probably not.

Hmm... not sure if I can explain it well (caffeine overdose). For me personally, in several occasions I've given the offending people the cold shoulder and never talking to them again.hyena said:@mouse: hang in there, please explain what breaking off contact has to do with being insecure! i have a problem deciphering the kind of behavior you mentioned (disappearing instead of telling someone to fuck off) because it always seems to me that by just going away one is delivering a very strong message
