I've also done badly at uni lately. I completely ignored one module, the assignment for which was due in just after Christmas... since then I've ignored another assignment (although this one was only for 25% of a module), and I had a phase test this morning for which I revised a little over an hour in total beforehand, and didn't do particularly well on. From what Hyena's just said, my 'problem' might be the opposite of Ben's... I'm far from being even close to a mood in which I can concentrate properly on working, and so I'll use the forums to essentially pass the time of day. Although that's pretty academic (h4r). I just hope I can ride the wav- err, trough, and be able to pick things up at a later date. Anyway, whatever happens Ben, best of luck with it all.

EDIT: Uh, this post was written over a 15 minute period, which is why it's so disjointed. I'm too tired to tidy it up though.

it's snowing today and my car just got hit in the parking lot...AGAIN!

the guy who hit me didn't leave the scene this time though, so i guess that means his insurance will pay for the rental car this time while my car visits the body shop .... AGAIN!

rahvin: fortunately the damage done is not as bad as last year's damage. but i'm still taking it in to the body shop. AND, i'm NOT parking in that area ever again! Ghhaad.

pics: interesting that you ask.... just last night i stopped off at Wolf Camera and purchased a new Sony digital. haven't set it up yet though. i'll be downloading a bunch of Gorgasm pics from the old memory stick later after i get back from work. that's the band i was shooting with my last camera just before it became toast. oh yeah, and i'm looking forward to seeing if the skin-head guy who knocked the camera out of my hand might possibly be in any of those pics!

gotta go to work now. it's gonna be a slow day with the bosses all in an Executive Board agenda review meeting. might be a good thing though. i've been meaning to crack open Flash (only have v.4 tho') and see if i can recall what little i learned about it a few years ago. want to try to do something special for my Pet Memorial page. however, Flash 4 is probably too old and my bare-bones skills with that program spells doom for that idea now that i think about it. blah. i'll MacGyver up with something for that page. :^)

@Tebs: Go for it! The way i see it, you do have a chance if you try it, if you keep hiding it you'll never know what could have happened. As for the friendship, it might be shaken at first, but if it's a strong one it should last. And i do believe that honesty is the best way to go, especially in close relationships of any kind. (care to tell what's wrong? you can send me a mail if you don't want to go public with it). But seriously, cracking heads is only good for releiving some frustration, if you get to think about it, most of the times our targets are not even worth the effort.

@D_J: Stop saying you suck or i'll get pissed off and i'll be tempted to crack your head. I'm really sorry to hear that tho, maybe the teacher is just a prick. Or maybe you're doing something wrong in the way you study. But you sure don't suck at all.

NF. Unpleasantly amazed by the cruelness and thoughtlessness of someone in whom I (+ a friend, but I prefere to speak for myself...) invested more time and energy then in any other people I know. It makes you realize that, not matter how good the intentions, in the end you can still get the blame for everything one can possibly think of...
Oh well, another life lesson learned here I guess...

I feel good today... even if I'm tired. We caught the pervert guy at my work yesterday... or was it day before yesterday...? My brain is boggled. boggle. hehe.

Also, my classmate (one I mentioned before) doesn't like me, as he now ignores me. He may have found me attractive, as he was looking at me, but may have a girlfriend. So, that may be why he's ignoring me. How honourable. At least that's my hypothesis. His loss.

Now I can go after metal guys, as they're the best.

ah, try to put it behind you: it will soon be someone else's problem and for somebody else to find out at their own expenses what it's all about. we're not talking about someone who will always land on his feet, we're talking about a headless lizard's throes of agony: the louder the noise, the closer the end.

and to less unpleasant matters: i've been out tonight and ended up feeling ok. my friend displayed a certain desire to really understand my point of view and personal situation, showed some participation and even vivacity, so i'm currently replaying the conversation in my head, slightly surprised at the unexpected interest shown. and no, it wasn't a date.
