Which is why you've done exactly that over 16 times a day for almost a year. (agreeing with Susperia again o_o)

If you people trying to win the loser award were genuinely antisocial you probably wouldn't be posting on a metal forum in the first place.

Hmm I dont know about that, I dont think it's quite that simple. Remember that everyone's "anti-socialism" manifests itself in different ways.

For those who post here and are anti-social in the real world, the forum might serve as a release for them, giving them the courage to "speak" which they lack in the real world. This is positive for them in some way.

EDIT: for example, Im not as confident in social situations as I was when I was younger. But funnily enough, things like forums can help you to regain those basic tools if you've lost them.

being antisocial isnt the same thing as being shy or socially unconfident

Shy or socially unconfident to me is more of something when you are 12-14 still having innocence sanity and not being stripped. It's ok to be naive and shy. After a certain point it's anti-social,degeneration,lost,not growing up etc... you are expected to get with it and know everything. If you don't you can say 'bye bye' to your life.

Not according to me. I just get this feeling from the world and things.

People expect you at a certain point to be really socially adult like and get great jobs. not be shy and naive like when you are a kid. Kids are suppose to grow really fast and shed those terms. If you are older like say(my age 19) and come off shy or naive it demenstrates weakness or lack of skills to someone. You're not naive or shy anymore. Maybe I have a different idea about these things.

It is a state hospital as a matter of fact, but rather the Mental Health Institute of Iowa, from my old stomping grounds. It's actually the spookiest place I've ever been to (not as a patient either!!!!).

Wouldn't you be kind of weirded out if your girlfriend told you this very same thing to you?

Not really, she is the same way I guess, but with her self-esteem being pretty shot, so I do understand it abit.

The only guys who have a problem with that are the ones with absolutely NO CONFIDENCE in themselves. ALL GIRLS want attention from guys, in relationships or not.

In majority of times a compliment that is given to a woman by a woman is more true though...
