One Album Wonders

They seriously are better. Stop being gay and check them out.

I've heard the first one and it's okay, nothing to scream about. "Dance the Night Away" is pretty awesome. Overall though I think TFC has a lot more 'classic' to it.

Traced In Air got tons of good attention, Cynic can't possibly make this list.

Comus - First Utterance

The Morningside - The Wind, the Trees and the Shadows of the Past
Judas Priest - British Steel
Poisonblack - Escapexstacy
Gojira - From Mars To Sirius
Carcass - Heartwork

The Machinations of Dementia by Blotted Science.

Damn album album as well, and I hope they make another soon (though it's unlikely, considering who the band members are - all far too busy unfortunately).

Zyklon - world of worms

Great album. Mix of black and death metal with a very precise sound to it, clean and almost industrial feeling (not the genre). Felt fresh and had something special going for it.

Then I bought "disintegrate" and they had become just another death metal band for whatever reason. I never heard the album in between these two ("aeon") but judging from revies its even worse than "disintegrate".

Europe - The Final Countdown was their big disappointment album because the previous two are actually metal, for the most part. So there.

Tales From the Thousand Lakes is a solid album but I don't consider it a classic. Elegy is decent but not really my cup of tea. The rest are completely forgettable.

I may get some shit for this one but Morbid Angel Altars Of Madness. 95% of the time I listen to Morbid Angel, I play Altars. I like most of their albums but to me Morbid Angel = Altars.

I understand the opinion (I listen to everything but I listen to Alters and Domination most by quite a bit), but it's just that, an opinion, because there's no way in hell you can look at Covenant's sales and say Morbid Angel are typically known for Altars.
