i love THE HOMESMAN. swank is great. there’s a super unexpected plot twist of sorts midway through which got me in the gut. i think it’s basically tommy lee jones’ UNFORGIVEN.

it'll be funny when this movie makes people realise what a right wing fantasy brawl is (in some ways anyway) and suddenly shun it. the outrage brigade don't seem to have noticed zahler isn't *one of them* yet.
