joshua burge is a really unique performer. he gives off huge buster keaton vibes facially while being literally the exact opposite physically, just slouches around not moving the entire movie.

If you don't mind, share some thoughts on that one when you're done. I kinda wanna see it but haven't really felt an urge to do so.

If you liked Nolan's war flick, you'd probably would like 1917. If you didnt, I'd say skip. Just throwing out war film cliches with a overbearing interest in establishing a long cut.

Solid story, beautiful cinematography, great acting. Just a very well made film. I'd say its more about the good in people rather than war. It's definitely making my top 5 for 2019. You should definitely give it a shot.

I liked that movie a lot too and I'm generally turned off by sentimentalized Hollywood war films.

Guess I'll have to check it out. I enjoyed American Beauty, Road to Perdition and Jarhead so even if I dislike 1917 it'll satisfy my inner completionist.
