Thought it was great. Werzog clearly identifies with the titular character and it makes for an interesting tale mostly free of wasted efforts to make the audience feel sympathy with his situation (basically avoids typically Hollywood-esque territory) and instead just places him in this obscure world and we get to see him exist free from manipulation. Hard to explain but I liked it a lot.
