The thread where you talk about non-metal music you like.

I bought Rome's Flowers From Exile a few days ago online. I'm psyched, I really like what I've heard from it.

Jenn got me into Masse Mensch Material...it's cool. Kind of reminds me of some of Roger Waters' solo work (Amused to Death) crossed with neofolk and industrial.

Pretty good, but it's basically the exact same shit as the first one..only the first one was a tad bit better (the song "Dreaming Through the Eyes of Serpents" is too badass)

that melody at like 1:25 is seriously the most catchy thing EVER. ever since i first heard that i've noticed it just popping up in my head every so often, even though i haven't really listened to dvorak for years.

finally a youtube of my favourite song ever! i'd sort of be surprised if many here even liked it, but it's pretty much tailor-made for me and i've been sort of obsessed since i first listened to it properly (i was underwhelmed by the album on a first distracted listen). so wild and despairing and disturbing and vivid and tragic and demented and ecstatic and decadent and fragmented and rambled and enigmatic and poetic and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. rest of the album is amazing as well in a variety of different ways.

ignore the vid btw it has nothing to do with the song

another amazing amazing song of an entirely different sort. i shouldn't really break up the album 'cause it's possibly the most fluid, unified album ever recorded, but i can't resist giving a taster. no other band has ever simultaneously rocked so hard whilst remaining so weightless.
