It's just because it has caffeine in it which is a dangerous combination. The goverment cracked down on a couple of other brands but for some reason that drink kept being sold.

Do you still see the Rockstar with Vodka drinks in the stores? I was surprised those are legit, but they are, and they barely cost more than a regular Rockstar. Energy drinks are not my cup of tea, however.
