Hey, cool someone else who knows (and loves) that band!
I must admit, it's been some time since I last listened to one of their records, but sometimes when I'm in the mood for bombastic stuff, I put them on. Same as you, I tend to prefer the older stuff. My favourites by them are Starfire, Battle Magic and Power Cosmic.

Yeah, this band deserves soo much more attention. Positive attention, I mean.

Actually I love their newest album the most, The Chtonic Chronicles is excellent, actually I love all Sagoth albums - my reference to liking the older stuff was aimed at the other bands on my list
