What type of metal do you consider COB?

Of course high pitched (queer? please.. come up with something better...) vocals are more common in Power Metal, but that does not mean a Power Metal can't have Black Metal vocals, does it? Or that every band with high pitched vocals are Power Metal. It's the music the catagorize the band as you said. So we agree there or not?

Hmm most people really agree on that? I saw many people here saying Black Metal or something else. So..you agree they are Power Metal? Good. You could find that interview if you wish but it does not really matter if Alexi thinks they are Black Metal, the music is still Power Metal. Would you believe Britney Spears if she said her music was Black Metal??

Alexi's vocals are more half-black, half-power (at least FTR is) to me, but the music itself is 80's power metal, as well as guitar virtuoso-type stuff... but Something Wild had some death influence to it, which tuned to more 80's heavy metallish in Hatebreeder and Follow the Reaper (moreso with FTR)...

That's just what I think. I also think this argument has gone on for too long, and is totally pointless, but I thought I's give my input as well...

I think the Children of Bodom forum is going to become more like the Opeth forum or maybe In Flames. You could find a dead body in the In Flames forum, and in the Opeth forum, there are just too many pointless posts. I can't believe they had to make a Chat/Off Topic forum to cut off the Opeth. That is hilarious.
