Well, according to my tastes right now, I'd have to say Sweden. And If I had to choose among all countries that produce metal, I'd honestly have to say Sweden. It's simply because they make the best metal ever.

Also some important ones will obviously be Great Britain, US, Gemany, Finland and maybe France or Brazil.

But if I analyze every band from each country I'd say the best ones come from Sweden and Germany.

I'm thinking Kreator, Sodom, Running Wild, Grave Digger, Living Death, Tankard, Destruction, Desaster, Holy Moses etc for obvious reasons.

Sweden & Norway were the last countries of interest for me.

UK certainly got the ball rolling and produced many memorable acts since.
US thrashed strong in the 80's and followed that up with a strong death metal scene.
