Excluding people who (for whatever idiotic reason) that dislike Iron Maiden, does anyone truely hate Fear of the Dark? I'd say it was a pretty decent album, and maybe even better than No Prayer for the Dying.
I'd rather pick No Prayer For the Dying as Maiden's worst (from the classic era) too.

It's weak but aleast is consistent the whole album goes to that sense of meh. But FOTD has peaks and valleys, like a sinusoidal signal and to me that's why in general terms 1988 it's the last year of Iron Maiden doing good stuff.

NP: Rush - 'Closer To The Heart'

I absolutely Love I Hear Black! its a great album if you can get past the awful production! I think that was another shit Alex Peralias job ... but the songs are great! Dreaming in Columbian, Spiritual Void, World of Hurt! it really is a great album if you see past its faults

Had to go with Dream Theater on this one. I think this album has aged very well and gotten better to my ears. It was a different sound for them at the time and many fans went apeshit. Looking at it almost ten years later, I think it is more of the sound they have on the latest album. There are some great songs on this CD! I find myself putting this one on more and more than most of thier other releases lately.

Falling Into Infinity is my second favorite DT album..........I think it's amazing. The only other albums off that list I listen to is Never Say Die and Fear of the Dark which are both really good.
