Who is the best singer in metal?

My favorites are Roy Khan, Jorn Lande, Dio, Mathias Blad, Daniel Heiman and of course Russel Allen. Theses guys have it all, killer tone, technique, and expression. It doesn't get better then this.

Russell Allen

followed by, in no particular order:

Roy Khan (Kamelot)
Marco Hietala (Nightwish,Tarot)
Kelly Sundown Carpenter (ex-Beyond Twilight, ex-Outworld)
Bjorn Jansson (Beyond Twilight)
Warrel Dane (Nevermore)
Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth)
Michael Eriksen (Circus Maximus)

Well my favorites are

Bruce Dickinson
James LaBrie
Russell Allen
Andi Deris
Hansi Kürsch
Kai Hansen
Peavy Wagner

I hate the typical mid-high pitch power metal singer who tries to be Michael Kiske or Bruce Dickinson. Theres just to many of them, i can't even enjoy Tobias Sammet anymore. Unless they got some aspect that is original wheter it's just plain immaturity or some kind of "weirdness", like the Heavenly singer for example, i think they right out suck. That polished typical power metal voice is just getting so damn old.

it's okay everyone, the real list is out (according to Hit Parader as reported by Blabbermouth). I was going to suggest playing 'spot the odd ones out' but maybe 'spot the even ones in' would be more of a challenge.

Even funnier than that list is some of the other lists they had. One of them was top 10 black metal (black metal. black. black metal.... keep this in mind)

So you had the expected ones. Shagrath was there, as was Ihsahn (which they spelled Isahn. Inexcusable). Then there was also John Tardy, Glen Benton... does anyone see any problems with this? Hit parader needs to die.

Well, my favourites are:

Hansi Kurch
