I know it's early and only Mar 13th, but i would be interested to know how many people are flying into Atlanta for PPVII, and what day and what time they are arriving. If there are an abundance of people arriving around the same time maybe we can all make arrangements to share a cab or shuttle. here again it is just a small thing but it would save each person a little money.:kickass: Or take the train i hear it is cheaper.

Arrival time: Delta 1602 arriving 11:50am Thursday the 14th

or you can just take the train, which is even cheaper.

EDIT: LOL at your edit! :)

by the way, I'll be arriving wednesday, likely in the early afternoon.

For the first time in all 6 prev. fests, I will be following Bear's lead, and arriving sometime on Wed., hopefully between noon & 1. Haven't booked my flight yet, still playing the "game"

I think Yippee and I are planning to come in on Thursday, we usually get there around lunch time and ALWAYS take the MARTA. Practically right across the street from the hotel.
Let me know what time you get there, and we can all met and take the train together, as i am a newbie i may need some assistance on getting to the hotel.:hypno:

What hotel are you staying at?

I don't know yet. I'll definitely be there (already have my gold badges confirmed), but I haven't made any travel arrangements as yet. I still don't even know if I'm going to fly or drive this year. Which basically means I won't be staying at the Residence, because that place books up pretty damn quick!

It's a nice hotel though... I stayed there in 2003 (and partied there most other years, heh). You won't need any assistance finding your way there, though... it couldn't be simpler. Once you arrive at the airport, get on the train (it's called the MARTA). There's no way to get mixed up with this... the train station is right inside the airport, and you don't have to worry about which train to get on, because there's only one train you can get on at the airport, and it only goes in one direction from there.

Ride the train for about 20 - 30 minutes, and get off at the "N5 - Arts Center" stop. It's about a 3 - 4 minute walk to the hotel from here. When you get out of the train station, turn right, so that you are walking north on Peachtree St NW. Walk up to 17th St and turn right, then walk to Peachtree St NE and turn right. Walk about 300 feet, cross the street, and you are at the Residence Inn.

Unfortunately, we have no clue where the Residence Inn is. We've always stayed at the Grenada. That's one block from the train and two blocks from Earthlink Live. The train is a great way to get there though. You never know who you'll be riding the train with either.

Hadn't booked yet by I hope to arrrive on the 13th evening. Been told the train is the best option. Still have to clear some points with my roommate.
