Bands you use to hate, but now like!

I used to hate all metalcore.

I used to find Immmolation boring.

The same as above for Discharge and a bunch of other hardcore punk.

I still find most rudimentary death metal (and Immolation) immensely boring.:(
I did really like Unholy Cult for a while, because it has a better production and isn't as immersed in sludge as the rest of Immolation's output.

I used to find death and black metal repulsive. I remember looking at reviews for Tomb of the Mutilated by Cannibal Corpse and listening to a sample and wondering how the hell anyone could ever stand to listen to it. It sounded like an impenetrable wall of noise. Now it doesn't even sound that heavy. As for black metal, the first time I heard In The Nightside Eclipse it didn't even really sound like music, I had no idea what was going on. Now it's one of my favorite albums.

Lol back in my Christian days, I called Cradle Of Filth "Satanic" and wouldn't touch 'em. I eventually listened to them, liked it, and moved on from them although I still enjoy them from time to time.

Good. Catholocism is shit anyway.
It's the truest form of Christianity.
I'm surprised you don't anymore but things change.
Do you still wear your cross necklace then?

Yes, but more to identify with the Polish eagle on it. I'm planning on replacing it with a Roman coin pendant, as soon as I find a good one. I may invest in a silver denarius of Marcus Aurelius or Trajan.

I'd get something more like this, as your heritage appears important to you

Not a Roman coin.

I do have a coin that might be a silver denarius. It's of the emperor Philip, who reigned during Rome's 1,000th birthday during the mid 3rd century. I should have an expert look at it.

Nevermore

I didn't hate them, but I was indifferent the first time I heard them. It was Dead Heart in a Dead World. I put the CD away and didn't play it again for maybe up to a year, until I had decided to listen one last time before selling it. I was blown away, and love Nevermore now.
