The Gathering

The only truly good metal band I've heard to come from here as far as I'm concerned. There were some decent death metal bands like Gorefest and Pestilence, but none that really excite me to the point where I would call them great.

I guess Dodens would argue that Countess is also great but I didn't really like the stuff I heard so far. So take that!

i think a better idea would be to ask for favorite bands from your hometown. this was started at another forum i goto, www.earth-dog.com/lounge, and would probably yield better results. cuz lets face it, anyone from america can easily answer slayer, morbid angel, or nile.
