You need at least 10 for it to count.

i've heard everything from '81 through '95 at some point with the possible exception of SEVENTH STAR, but i can't remember much of it. didn't exactly grab me for the most part but maybe some of it would nowadays.
feel free not to count this, but of the first 9 i'd go:
1) vol. 4
2) paranoid
3) black sabbath
4) master of reality
5) heaven and hell
6) sabbath bloody sabbath
7) sabotage
8) technical ecstasy
9) never say die
it's obviously minor but i quite like technical ecstasy relative to how much it's shat on.

H.P. Lovecraft said:1) Everything else
2) Forbidden
Just kidding. Not really though.
The Ozzman said:I forget about Seventh Star existing all the time
J. said:that’s reasonable since its shit
Krow said:Technical Ecstasy is dogshit.
On 13 they tried so hard to capture the magic of the old days but didn't make it...A failed attempt IMO.
Paranoid > Vol 4 = Master of Reality > Sabbath Bloody Sabbath = Black Sabbath > Heaven and Hell > Sabotage > Mob Rules > Born Again > Dehumanizer > Headless Cross > Tyr = 13 > Never Say Die > Technical Ecstasy
there's really no way to fuck this up.
Meanwhile, back on topic, scientists prove "TYR" to be mediochre.
at least its not technical ecstasy or never say die am i rite
Eternal Idol is a solid release. and started the Tony Martin era. it's not the best or worst.
The Devil You Know. Legit. Heavy as fuck.
Born Again is musically some of Sabbaths best material. Gillan doesn't really fit though... Born Again's mix is great; a muddier mix to fit the darker tone. People are just pussies.
Black Sabbath- TYR
A very underrated Sabbath album.
Cross Purposes has the best drumming of any Sabbath album ever produced
