i'm surprised nobody said immolation or incantation yet (i do seem to remember. and i know this will get trashed by certain people but vitus are another good pick for a band with a consistent, difficult to rank discography. maybe morbid angel would work too, although the top is kind of obvious i guess. summoning is another.

The album art certainly improved. Damn, the art for Kill was gay.
