Half way through the year - best album so far?

What's the hype with Shora here? Not that it's bad but there are many bands in the post-rock genre (let alone the other genres) that were and are far more interesting.

you should probably read the title of the thread before you ask a question like that.

Best: The Great Cold Distance - Katatonia

Disappointing: 10,000 Days, but it's growing on me. Just no real flow to the album...

And Braighs, really, don't assume that NFU doesn't have connections... saying shit like "pwnd tbqh" will just make you look more stupid when he proves you wrong.

DTB - Synchestra
Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance
The Gathering - Home

Don't really have many disappointments, although I am having a hard time getting into the new Moonspell.

My favorite release of 2006 so far is:

Lacuna Coil-Karmacode

I like the edge they brought to their music. and maybe I just wasn't expecting what I heard.

I haven't really been disappointed with anything, because for the most partr my expectations of certain albums were met.

well, seeing as it's a 2005 album, it shouldn't be on any list of 2006 albums :|

edit: shit, i didn't notice the page changing... i meant page 3 :erk:
