Half way through the year - best album so far?

Absinth - Absinth (probably the best this year)

Can`t think of any more REALLY FUKIN AWESOME GOOD albums this year.

But Poisonblacks new song sounds promising....

Drudkh is decent but misses my list by a mile. Glare of 1768 is a badass song though.

oh cant believe I forgot Cult of Luna - "Somewhere Along the Highway"... probably my favorite so far.

I was actually wondering if NFU liked that kinda music..

I agree that its a brilliant album. Definitely my favorite of theirs. It seems like they didn't try so hard this time and just let it flow. Apparently most of it was recorded live, so thats probably why.

Despite the great dislike for '10 000 Days' here, it's my fav until now... Synchestra was nice but nothing more than that for me

EDIT: having said that, I must add 2005 was far better as concerns releases... 2006 still fails to impress me

actually cult of luna is a very solid act.

IF ITS FUCKING GOOD, I PROBABLY LIKE IT. IF ITS SHIT, THEN IM GOING TO BAG ON IT. there, now that we have THAT settled...listen to Dolorian too. if you like cult of luna, youll probably appreciate them.
