Hip hop or reggae influences in opeth

I have read a lot of interviews which mikael said that he is not interested in hip hop or reggae music, but if He were he will put those influences in his music, what do you think? I dont think it would be bad, because if you put attention to the "white face haggard grin this serenity painted death" part, this part sounds like hip hop, "death hop"(just a joke) haha in this case, but it sounds very good, there is a lot of hip hop and reggae bands that are shit, but music can be good in any style.
