I have read a lot of interviews which mikael said that he is not interested in hip hop or reggae music, but if He were he will put those influences in his music, what do you think? I dont think it would be bad, because if you put attention to the "white face haggard grin this serenity painted death" part, this part sounds like hip hop, "death hop"(just a joke) haha in this case, but it sounds very good, there is a lot of hip hop and reggae bands that are shit, but music can be good in any style.:kickass:

I dont talking about shity hip hop, and I am talking about some things in hip hop music not beign a hip hop band, This is too much complex to understand?.

imo i think blackwater park has hip hop parts!!!when i listened it for the first time i was shocked!

gees
that would be the most stupid thing to become to Opeth and no there isnt any rap hip hop in Opeth. I think you are terribly wrong!

Yeah exactly. I dont think anyone in here want Mikael to be the new Fred Durst :p
I also remember in some interview, Mike said that he'd never been into the whole rap-metal thing when he got a question about Rage Against The Machine. So luckily I think we'll get spared from this. :saint:

ok men you won I promised you I will never do stupids thread , but some of you need to stop thinking that opeth will do a full black metal record, because as hip hop, black metal stinks.
