I bought a new car (the "I wanna be like Gugs" thread)...

congrats dude! ... always liked the 300C ... the narrow side windows and the "real" space inside ... for big buggers like me.

what i don't like is the 12-14 mpgs :loco:

I bought a fully loaded 2005 Chrysler 300C last weekend. It's the first car I have bought that I actually wanted/liked. I have had it for 8 days and still get a turgid shaft every time I see it/think about it.
That's a nice car... very cool looking. I actually considered that car, but in the end, it was a bit too big for me. Congrats.

I'm seriously thinking about getting a Prius. I can't seem to find any bad reviews about them. Although my overall savings on gas would probably be the same if I bought a Corolla - which is less fuel-efficient, but cost less to begin with. I just can't see myself driving an 18-mpg 4x4 for the next ten years.

Diesel is pretty efficient, yep. But it's also filthy and very very expensive. Euroniggers and Chinks are driving diesel prices out the roof.

Anyway, Mini likes to pretend thir cars return 40 mpg highway. Did you ever approach this figure?

i was getting 23 city / and close to 30 higway on my 2003

the new ones (from 07 ) ARE getting over 40 highway (the standard Cooper not the S) ... with city averages 28-34 !!!!

this is all over the MINI forums ... its actually higher numbers than the EPA ones on the window sticker.

now my Mazda has an EPA rating of 22 city, but I am getting 16-18 :erk: ... that's bullshit.
