Yes and yes. The purpose is to bring forth what is hard to hear in the original.
It is not possible to completely remove the vocals.

Actually Swim and Only For The Weak are from their live in Moskow in 2011, but the other files are from this bootleg pack "In Flames 1996-2008" stuff.

I re-did the equalisation and mastering of these to make them more enjoyable than before. The original file was quite weak and messy, it's better now. It's from their live in Moskow in 2011.

Aaaaand, their live at Malmö Arena from 2009. The full set, remastered by myself (it now has a great sound, not like the version you can hear on Krofius Youtube channel :D ). I re-did the equalisation completely, alongside a brand new mastering. Enjoy the fuck out of it as much as I do:

I probably got the biggest IF bootleg collection here, huge majority is audio though. Got 24gigs, don't really have anything in the recent 3-4years though, haven't had the interest.
And yeah the Malmö upload isn't anything special quality wise. I just share it, that's it. My fav upload probably is Behind Space with original line-up. Such a fucking shame the mic was fucked when they covered Blinded by Fear.
Getting that bootleg was a bitch lol, payed like 20dollars to a guy from Jordan or some shit. I also tried very hard to get a pretty good audio bootleg from Wacken 1997, but the guy refused unless it was a trade and I had nothing to trade with =/

Making ad hominem attacks on the music is far from good points, they're shit points in fact.

This sounds nothing like Passenger or Nu Metal. Sorry. It's Alternative Metal, and that's it. There are MDM influences in there obviously, but it's ultimately Alternative Metal and not MDM anymore. It's not pop, it's not nu metal, it doesn't sound like nickelback, justin bieber is not heavier than In Flames, these are all ad hominem bullshit strawmen arguments of shitty mentally challenged "fans" who had 14 years to figure out their precious band isn't going to make straight up MDM anymore but they still ask for it.

On the topic of the album: I'm digging Monsters In The Ballroom a lot now.

There were to songs I didnt like on the album. MITB and Paralyzed. But MITB grew on me. Really digging the chorus, best part of the song I guess.

And Filtered Truth is awesome. Melodic, great chrous, good solo. One of the best from the album.
 
The setlist is a bit of a giveaway that club citta isn't 1996 :D

Right now SC sounds far more like alt-rock than alt-metal, but that may be due to the shitty quality of the leaks and the lack of bass.
