Tell me about it, man. My gf (former ex... yeah, don't bother trying to keep track anymore) has been begging to see me without the goatee now for a while. I'll definitely look like 4 years younger without it, and though it'll probably take me less than a week to grow it back to a point where I don't look 15 anymore, I still don't want to part with it.

nf: troubled thoughts and anxiety again tonight. i definitely think too much, and a whole week of sobriety is not helping. so in a while i'm going out and i'll try to get drunk. then it's just a matter of making it home and collapse unconscious before i can muster the concentration to text message anyone.

@hyena: by now you know all the facets of my emotional crashes, i couldn't text you with anything new or stimulating. plus, as usual, if we're both in the same mood we either come up with some hilarious joke to keep us awake all night or agree on the fact that life is shit. or both. and, well, it's certainly refreshing, but definitely not what i was dreading might happen.

although I can't be drunk today, maybe i should bring some alcohol.
I know it takes me 20 shots to be (mildly) drunk, 10-12 for one of my friends, and 2 (yes, two) for another friend.

today brought:

a lazy, unproductive day at work.

the realization that at the moment my level of productivity depends on whom i have lunch with. i love my friends, but they don't make me smart.

a wonderful motorbike ride on the hills, on my own and listening to old songs by enrico ruggeri.

a slight headache upon coming home too early.

a new bad religion song.

30 minutes of waiting for said friends in front of a club.

2 hours spent in said club, managing to get more headache out of ONE beer and ONE (small) gin and tonic.

tomorrow will bring:

1 huge hangover, even though i'm drinking water at the moment.

loads of things to do: cleaning the flat, buying food, a printer, a scanner, a webcam, cables to wire my stereo with tv and computer.

a brand new bad religion comp cd.

a night with my beloved, with no tubbies in sight (but alas about 50 people hanging about).

i don't know how i feel about my life.

it's 2.37 am.

i'm now feeling like someone who's suddenly and unexpectedly remembered the lyrics to r.e.m.'s country feedback, realised how well the fit his personal situation, and is not terribly happy about it, which is exactly what happened a minute ago.

NF: I noticed that I wrote to Delirious about a Katatonia-gig within an example and he just recently said that he couldn´t get to see Katatonia. That was very insensitive of me and I want to apologize for that

nf: i managed to connect my laptop to the home theater system, so now i can play all my mp3's at maximum force (yum). i will connect my TV tomorrow, resulting in media happiness all-around. i also bought a printer/scanner/copier which is totally spiffy, and lots of other nerdy stuff. i'm going out in a while, directed towards a dinner where i'll see he of whom i dream, without evil incarnate in tow. life's peachy.
