NF: Somewhat accomplished. Getting wireless internet on a laptop using Linux is a real pain. But the geek inside of me loves it.

nf: discovered that i don't even need the enemy to lose battles, i can do it singlehandedly. well done.

NF: worried about everything :erk:
How can one sell oneself to an employer? I have no working experience whatsoever, which is frowned upon here... so I'll have to rely on their sympathy and their readiness to believe me when I say I learn things easily. Because I do. But how will they know that?
Sigh.

NF: GRAAAAAAAND!!
Carnival has started! (yesterday eve :dopey: )
Four days of complete drunkiness hooraaaah
:hotjump:
Carnival is a feast in the south of the Netherlands, where everyone dresses up (My costumes: The antikrist, a banana, a hawaiian girl, soccerplayer (bah, old cost.), army girl (bah, old cost)) and everyone gets drunk for at least three days after each other! (L) <3 grand, isnt it?
ANd on sundays (which is today, as far I'm concerned) we get an ..optocht, a parade, with big ..things. I'll go look for some pics!!

Carnaval (4-day celebration) is a periode when a part of the Netherlands goes out of his or her mind.

For weeks the people of Noord Brabant ('county', south of Holland) have been sewing costumes, painting masks, and creating giant puppets -- preparing for carnaval.

’t Is mar vùr slès !

arrrr, and i would be drunk this very minute were it not for the exam i have to fail tomorrow. have fun though, waz

Yeap, well, Carnival was popular when I was a kid, and everyone at school used to get dressed in many different ways. I preferred to become a super-hero, and I remember myself as a Superman, Batman or el Zorro (yes, my obsession about saving the world was there already). It was chupi indeed! :)

Aww I guess Sweden's the only place where people don't dress up and have fun - ever :p No wonder we're so uptight around these parts :p

@hyena: right now I'm going to apply for work at a café and a cheese shop, but then I'm going to try my luck at the post office and a few cemetaries too (it's grave care - planting flowers and stuff, basic gardening :p I'm not grim and necro enough to want to work there because it's a grim and necro place to work at ;))

Hey, selling cheese would be great, i love the gardening job in the cemetery though :goggly:

NF: fine :Spin: and weird: i got quite drunk last night and today when i woke up i was feeling great, not even the slightest sign of hangover
*hilj's head is floating high*

NF: I noticed that I wrote to Delirious about a Katatonia-gig within an example and he just recently said that he couldn´t get to see Katatonia. That was very insensitive of me and I want to apologize for that :(
don´t worry about it

NF: home from a great evergrey studio visit weekend in gothenburg. great music, nice people, free everything (including booze :Spin: ) and a couple of DT purchases I´m quite pleased with. additionally, a friend of mine got my new computer working. hooray.

got some catch-up reading/posting to do here, though :)

NF: Better. Recovering from a headache. I better head back to work.

I feel like soaking in a tub, while reading The Rising, smoking a joint, having a beer, and going to sleep. Too bad I'll be taking a shower, no weed, no beer, but I'll atleast be reading in bed :D.

NL: You just have to hope that you're doing a reliable impression on the employers. But even more, you must hope that there are no other job seekers with better qualifications than you. :erk:

I think that I will seek a vacation job on a large laundry in the neighbouring village. They're washing sheets and clothes used at surgical operations and such, so if i'm going to work there I guess it will be quite high death meatl-factor on the job - bloody sheets, hot, a lot of noise and lots of people running around in white coats screaming to each other. Hmm, sounds like mental care now when I'm reading this... :loco:

Either that or the local screw factory. (no, don't interpret it that way! :loco: )

Sick of my home life. There is constant fighting between the women in the house, and I cant find a moments peace here. If its not one thing its another. Then again this has been going on as long as I could remember, so its normal right? :(
