Everyone: Can we please stop whining, and be a little more positive about life please?
Woohoo, in less than 4 weeks I'll be on holiday. Better??

It's still too far away though... :bah: :p

*Undersigns DJ's post*

This is a NF thread, and it's understandable it's also used as a forum for expressing ones genuine grievances and problems, but when it turns into systematic one-line quetches the whole thread morphs into numbing whining. As it has, I feel like the DT forum is at times a sub-forum for Seriously off-topic for people to whine in.

I'm being serious, browsing through the past few pages of this thread is seriously depressing, more than 80% of the posts are doom, gloom and disaster. It's becoming much harder to get any pleasure out of posting here anymore, because everything is dire and nothing is even remotely pleasant.

One can certainly express unpositive feelings and events, but at least attempt to soften them with an anecdote or self-irony (like rahvin and NL for example), something most posts here are bereft of.

Oh yes.

stop whiening about whiening ormir and dj!!!11

I needed to make that comment before someone else decides to be klevar klevar. ;)

NF: I feel good. Got some boring work out of the way and can now concentrate on fun work. It's almost a contradiction in terms, I know, but there is a thing called "fun work". :)

It's not a contradiction in terms, my friend Sunjammer, it is a wonder that I thought I would never hear about, and I want you to introduce me to this new and amazing concept. I need something like that to wash away my fears of having to wake up early every morning to earn enough money to pay my bills and... for a couple of coffees.

@Sun: Ironic, so far. I've lost my hopes in finding any fun when working. Btw, I'm gonna visit Stockholm this next june, any "must-visit" places over there? :)

|ng.

@|ng: Umm... *thinking* A place I always want to show people is the oldest part of the city. The old city core called "Gamla stan", which suitingly enough translates into "the old city". Why Gamla stan then? The architecture mostly. Most of Stockholm is enjoyable due to the variation in architecture and the overall contrast between city areas. If I'm free I could act the perfect *coughcough* guide...
