when it comes to MG it seems at least to me that the album everyone is talking about is "tusen år har gått" (a thousand years have gone by
)
but I guess I´ll check out as much as possible of the earlier material sooner or later, probably

poor guy indeed. probably almost as horrible as repeatedly answering "so, tell me the history of the band"
I guess the general criticism of ville valo has much to do with the problem (metal) people tend to have with "mainstream" bands and especially those of the "teenage idol" kind. and since he is so much of a front character (being on album covers, all 14y/o girls´ favourite and so forth
) he is the obvious target...
and coincidently the first HIM interview I read was one were he had been drunk, refused to pose for pictures and so forth. (don´t remember exactly, but you get the picture...) but I guess you have to allow artists being unprofessional

it´s quite funny, that with disliking bands that are for example arrogant. I mean, logically it
should be the music that counts, even if they are idiots. a bit of fooling oneself, really. I know I do the same, though, and I´m undoubtedly more inclined to buying albums/merch with bands I respect.
