Not-so-good-and-old "How do you feel" thread

nf: tired. i have class in 8 minutes. not a good combo. though i'm psyched to get back to my apt. after class to mess around on my newly working 'net.

this occurs to me as a bit random, but i just felt like asking. how many here play rpgs like DnD and V:tM and stuff? this seems a lil bizarre and out of the ordinary for me i think, but just out of curiosity, would any of those people be interested in playing a play by post game on a site like www.rpol.net or something? i don't know exactly why i ask, as i would suck as a gm, and so someone else would have to take that spot, and also i have nothing even conceived for what kind of game to play or anything, but i figured i'd put it out there as a cool idea. mainly cause i feel i don't chat enough with you guys. :)

~kov.

so tired. and weirded. just out of it.

@kov: i played some d&d in the past (not v:tm though) and i might be interested if you can point me to somewhere where i can learn all the rules about whatever it is we're gonna do in detail. basically, i don't need to read the basics as i'm quite versed in the ways of rpg's, but i surely don't remember technicalities about any specific roleplay or module.

@rahv: yeah, i've never played v:tm either, but i thought i remembered that few people here did. usually i just download all of the rulebooks through p2p stuff, but for all those times when i post from school or home, i find the SRD to be invaluable: http://geocities.com/sovelior/srd/home.html

it's got basically all the rules for dnd, which is just about all i know how to play. i think i currently have every up to date core and non-core rulebook available, so i guess i make a good resource on the topic. i just kinda suck at leading a story and stuff. actually, i'll see if my bro would be interested. the kids like a mad genius when it comes to stuff like storytelling and such.

Yes, I used to play HeroQuest, Advanced HeroQuest, D&D, RuneQuest... etc. :) It would be interesting, not sure how much time I'd have for it though, since I really should be working a lot more now...

@kov: i'm - quite literally - game then. ;) provided you send me all your updated core and non-core stuff so i get to read it at least once, if you don't mind. you can pm me for icq number or any other handy way of transferring stuff.
i'm sure i might have enough time if it's not too intense/anxiety-inducing.
if you're looking for someone who could be interested in v:tm, misanthrope is the user for you. you can find him on the off-topic board, scaring n00bs and calling sluts sluts. ;)

NF: strange. First of all I always lose the ever-struggle against my own timetable. Then I still think I have the tendency to make things more complicated than they actually are. I think I am so afraid I could not have good grades in my master thesis and exam, that I don´t even dare to start :erk: But obviously delaying the problem won´t solve it at all, so it would be wiser to just get it done, as good as possible. I think it won´t be that bad, so I wonder what I am afraid of :(

btw rahvin, there was a certain finland mail. you may reply to that one aswell one day. :p

you're right. my timetable doesn't agree with me a lot today either: too much time outdoors, it seems.
