This is my first Lovecraft material. I was spurred on to read his stuff when I read "The Gods of Bal-Sagoth" short story collection by Robert E. Howard and discovered that Lovecraft was part of the same niche.

Robert E Howard is excellent...but grab every piece of Lovecraft you can get your hands on. At the Mountains of Madness, the entire Randolph Carter series and The Case of Charles Dexter Ward are fucking mind blowing

not at all. perhaps its a factor of my environment (i.e. aus), but there just aren't that many angry people in the world. most people are just out to have a good time.

^ man having lived in SA for 8 years, I can tell you, once you're north of O'Connell Street, things can get really rough in places.

imo, West, East or South (not too far south though) in Adelaide is the best... No offence Dan if you live in the northern suburbs...

^ Im slightly south of the city (about 10 min drive), so no offence taken. Far south is terrible, as is far North.

Some areas North are the best suberbs in SA though; such as springfield, Prospect, and areas of North Adelaide.

Yeh, ive noticed it alot over the last 5 or so years, expecially in town. They hang around in groups and can be quite intimidating at times. There is also too many wogs here; and lefties. Execially lefties.
