I just saw some woman drop to the ground and flop around like a fish out of water a little while ago in Stop n' Shop. She was making really funny noises. At first I thought it was a mentally retarded person throwing a hissyfit, but it turns out it was a 50something year old married woman having a seizure. It was a damn long seizure, went on for a few straight minuets. No one knew what to do, so they just called 911 and stood and watched.

I would've taken pictures.

If you can help them down so they aren't falling down hard, great, but you shouldn't hold them still. My brother has had a few seizures. It's pretty awful to have to watch, but there really insn't anything you can do, aside from calling 911 if it starts to go on too long.

Fuck you. Having a seizure is pretty terrible, and it can happen to just about anyone for, literally, no reason. When my brother had his first one, we were in our senior year of high school. It was just a random thing and, as such, was pretty damn scary. Since then he's had a few caused by withdrawal from the meds, which he stopped taking several times because they really fuck with you. I'm sure it's also no fun having to get MRI's every few monthes just to make sure he doesn't have a tumor.
