no eyeliner, nail polish, wallet chains, all dark wardrobe for me. I don't want to look like a korn/green day fan. seriously, anyone who looks "remotely" metal actually listens to nu/alt metal around here

Now this is some true stellar metal fashion. White Hightop Reeboks FTW Feathered Hair, too.:lol:

haha morbid saint nice. going into thrash shows nowadays almost all the kids there are dressed exactly like that except for the hair. its funny to see kids who listen to metal which sometimes is related to anticonformist all conforming to the same style. a lot of the dressing up in metal i think is kinda lame, i get it that people wear tshirts and jeans but wearing a lot of the other stuff most of the time just strikes me as trying to hard unless its comfortable and the person wants to wear it besides a fashion statement.

Metal fashion is ugly as fuck, especially when women overdo it.
Girls with band shirts, bullet belts, boots and patch jackets rules. The ultimate look on both men and women.

What do you think of fashion trends?
They suck, basically. Most girls look like idiots.
How do you feel about women who dress the same as gay men?
I have no idea what you're talking about.
Would dating a trendy girl go against your principles?
I seriously doubt a trendy girl would want anything to do with me.
Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you think a girl is pretty, but wouldn't approach her because of what she is wearing?
No.
Let's say you are browing MySpace. What strikes you about a girl for you to "choose" her over others?
I'm not on myspace other than to put my band's songs up and to listen to other bands.

What do you think of fashion trends?

I don't have a problem with fashion trends (clothing wise) at all.

How do you feel about women who dress the same as gay men?

I can't think of any examples of women who dress the same as gay men. I think you need to elaborate or re-word the question.

Would dating a trendy girl go against your principles?

No. My girlfriend is a passionate fashionista, and she loves metal.

Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you think a girl is pretty, but wouldn't approach her because of what she is wearing?

I'm not single, but if I was, I probably wouldn't approach a woman who looked like she had no idea how to dress (metal or otherwise).

Let's say you are browing MySpace. What strikes you about a girl for you to "choose" her over others?

I don't browse myspace for girls.

I am mostly interested in replies from straight men. Thanks!

1) Fashion trends suck and although i won't judge anyone for following them, i'm not interested in them myself

2)UMMM...yea well i guess women who dress like gay men are alright? idk

For me i will flip this question following questions:

3)Would dating a trendy guy go against your principles?
I'd date a trendy guy but its definetly not as attractive to me as metal t shirt and jeans:p

4)Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you think a guy is cute, but wouldn't approach her because of what she is wearing?

No, i wouldnt approach him either way, YAY shy-ness:)

5)Let's say you are browing MySpace. What strikes you about a guy for you to "choose" her over others?
Well i don't plan on ever surfing myspace for dates but if i had to choose i'd usually guy that has good taste in music, intelligent, has a good sense of humor

twas fun answering thanks catarina:)

1. Fashion trends - don't care. its more amusing than anything else.
2. Women dressed like gay men? what the fuck?
3. Dating trendy girls - hell yeh. If she's hot, she's hot.
4. Girls who are pretty are pretty - again, I'll approach any girl i find attractive. Although I guess being attractive is part of wearing appealing things ... kinda goes hand in hand.
5. I'm never going to try and pick up on myspace. If you are asking what girls im attracted to ... heaps of different sorts.

1. On impulse, I would condemn the effect that trends have on our culture. But looking at myself, I cannot speak, because I tend to conform to the metalhead look (band shirts, camo pants, long hair, boots...).
2. I don't care.
3. No, as long as whatever trend she digs is not deleterious to her ability to keep up a meaningful relationship, that and if she can tolerate my tastes, I won't have much a problem tolerating hers.
4. I care more about her physical features than the superficial layer of fabric that conceals them.
5. Myspace is the last place I would go to look for girls.

What do you think of fashion trends?

I don't really care if people want to be fashionable, but some people go overboard with it and it consumes their lives.

How do you feel about women who dress the same as gay men?

I've never seen this

Would dating a trendy girl go against your principles?

It depends. If she was down to earth personality wise, I could probably deal with it. Most girls I've known who are trendy are not, sadly. The girl just has to be tolerable of my tastes. If she writes me off solely based on the fact that I listen to bands like Municipal Waste or Leviathan, she won't get a chance.

Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you think a girl is pretty, but wouldn't approach her because of what she is wearing?

What she is wearing is irrelevant. I don't really approach women ever, but if I find a girl attractive in a t-shirt and sweatpants, I'll find her attractive in anything, really.

Let's say you are browing MySpace. What strikes you about a girl for you to "choose" her over others?

I browse MySpace to look for long lost friends, not to pick up chicks

Jeans, black jacket from the military surplus store, shirts (don't care what color, as long as it's not "sky blue pink" or some crap like that) and boots.

Honestly, I dress pretty normal, except I only have two pairs of pants :erk:

Fucking poor fucking fucker :(

Something is stretching out the screen, if you're going to post pics, resize them please:p

anyway, my outfits vary on whatever I want to wear for that day.

Sometimes I like to wear dresses and high heels. Other days I'll go for a tanktop and skirt and flip flops.

Or girlie metal band shirt and tight jeans and heels/flip-flops/sneakers.

it all depends on what I feel like wearing.

but I like a guy who looks metal. The long hair, the metal band shirt, jeans, cute face, etc.

What do you think of fashion trends?
I don't care for it.
How do you feel about women who dress the same as gay men?
More power to them
Would dating a trendy guy go against your principles?
Yes, because he's following a stupid trend, and not being true to himself.
Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you think a guy is pretty, but wouldn't approach him because of what he is wearing?
No, because most cute guys are already taken by disgusting sluts anyway.
Let's say you are browing MySpace. What strikes you about a guy for you to "choose" him over others?
Personallity, morals, taste in music, and cuteness.

^^^like me! minus the hair ofcourse

seriously though, i dont care. my only criteria when it comes to the opposite sex's clothes is that they dont look like a whore.
