The band name is Symphony X. That there is a good enough reason not to have heard them. I am not a fan of this modern power metal, which I assume they are. I have just had no interest in hearing them.

That's because the new album wasn't very good. Listen to the song "The Odyssey". If you don't at very least like that then we have different tastes. Personally my taste varies though as I listen to all kinds of shit. There's really no one genre I completely dislike except Rap & anything Punk or Pop-Punk.

& you are an asshole. Symphony X is one of my favorite bands, but I was disappointed as hell with their new album. I've also never heard any Punk that I liked. Deal with it like a fucking adult. If I ever heard any Punk I liked I would be the first to admit it. I said I liked Madonna & Kylie Minogue on here before, I think I would be able to admit to liking some punk

I don't think it's heavy at all. I just want to hear them play technical, memorable, & inventive songs with unpredictable leads. I also hate what Russell did with his voice. There are really no amazing tracks on the album. I'm not as big on V as some people, but I like it much better. I live Divine, Twilight, & Odyssey best. You can have your opinion, it's fine by me.
