I had a wonderful weekend in Taipei. Saw some great artwork at the museum, went to some of the super-crowded markets, ate snake soup (!) complete with snake bits, and bought (relatively) cheap electronics...

Just had a business dinner with folks from the refinery. Good food, but Asian culture seems to "require" a lot of drinking at business (and probably social) functions. 2 bottles of good brandy finished by about 10 people... not bad. But I barely feel drunk... I'll try harder next time. OTOH, I DO have to go to work tomorrow...

While sitting on the bus after work today a friend of mine phoned
me up, and he was just about to go on stage with his band and
wanted me to come. I got to the club as soon as possible and
a girl that I work with decided to come too )

I'd expected something serious, kind of stoner rock, but well...
Hehehe... They played covers, like Turboneger (Norwegian rock
heroes!!) The Ketchup Song (us Borknagar forumers should know
this one! hehe), rock ballads and well...they ruined every song
they played! hehe... It was both good and bad at the same
time! >) Got some really good pics as well )

Anyways, it was just fun to do something that was not planned! )

Ok, nicest shit that happened to me...:
I am working on 1 project this spring, and I decided to take another class as xtra. I found out I passed my x-tra class, AND today my teacher was impressed by my presentation of my main project and told the class to use my work as inspiration.. (class is called Design in digital environments... freely translated). Well, such comments are rewarding.

For those specially interested: I am almost back with my ex (gf for over 5 yrs), so the future looks good. AND I am going deeper into business doing graphics very soon. (Now that's a lot at once)... AND the new Katatonia kicks ass... there, all done.
