I honestly have a soft spot for McCarthy for some reason, but her movies usually let me down. The Happytime Murders ruled but not necessarily because of her (though she was still aight). This looks to be more of a serious role so I dunno...

Also this is based on a comic book? I guess that means 'Kitchen' refers to Hell's Kitchen where Daredevil etc takes place?

not sure if its based on a comic book. But Hell's Kitchen is actually a real neighborhood in New York.

Oh yeah I knew it was a real place, and yep it's based on a 2014 DC/Vertigo series. Hopefully it doesn't suck too bad.

Last Vertigo based movie i think i saw was The Losers. I still need to check out the Preacher series. Have you seen it?

Nah man is it any good? I've read a few issues of the book. I can actually watch it, it's on a streaming service I use.

Preacher? Not sure, havent seen or heard much about it which is why i was asking. Think im gonna go read through a few reviews.

The Losers was an okay action flick. Been years since i saw it though. Might just pop in the blu-ray later tonight and watch it again.

I mentioned the movie, "Freeway" in an earlier post--it has Keifer Sutherland, Reese Witherspoon & Brooke Sheilds in it..it really was a very funny movie..you guys should check it out...

It was cool. I was expecting more depth maybe, but once I realised it's playing out more like an old school space horror I had fun with it, and the creature is one of the cooler CGI creations I've seen in some time.
