This is the first one I really disliked.

Northman I barely remember. I at least liked the ending to Lighthouse. The Witch will stand up to the test of time.


But this just stinks. I'm not sure what anyone would find enjoyable about this remake. I watched Coppolas the other day, first time in awhile. Need to watch Herzogs again. But it's just everything wrong with "modern horror" , in my opinion.

I just watched Terrifier and Terrifier 2 with one of the kids. Second time around it's still just as funny. However I reckon this time I noticed more little things that help explain Art and possibly go towards what we'll see in 4 when it's released.

She is 16 and she's been hounding me for ages to watch it. I don't really have anything against the kids watching horror, I'm sure they could find worse if they tried. But like me she sees the fun side of Art and looks for the weird and wonderful rather than just the gore (which doesn't bother her). She didn't laugh as much at the upside down girl in 1 as she did at the guy behind the car in 2. Can't wait to see her reaction to the guy in the showers in 3!

but hearing "jack black and Paul Rudd announce" just sounds like someone making a parody-movie
