THE PROGRESSIVE ROCK THREAD

All of my prog roots lead to Caress Of Steel. Why that album was/is so underrated I will never get.

Anyway, GREAT THREAD! And yes, whoever said Camel's Mirage is spot on!

Here are some other great prog bands that no one's really talked about:

Amon Duul II

Eloy

Glass Hammer

I am today going on prog archives and find these band you post videos of.

Then check this band out-

They are a little bit more on the prog metal side. But they are fucking AMAZING!

Great Gentle Giant song here

In a Glass House

sounded more along the lines of Kansas

That whole album is absolutely amazing

I can't remember who recommended these guys to me on here, but Areknames and Anglagard are two modern prog bands I've been listening to a lot.

That PFM is awesome, hard telling if its fusion or progressive... like that makes much sense anyhow.

Pink Floyd invented techno.

Not electronica, but techno. You probably can't find me a much more techno-esque track within a decade of this song's arrival. If not techno, then trance without a doubt. And it's not like it's some obscure little track, everybody and their mother had a copy.
