The thread where you talk about non-metal music you like.

I reckon I showed this to WAIF. I really love this song. If one likes Pakistani/Indian or Sufi music, this is a real nice fusion. Do check it out.

I love this album....very cool and soothing.

I didn't think anyone else liked this band.

surprise! Valerie already posted my favorite though. The melodies used in "Lift" would fit in really well on a Sonata Arctica album...anyone else notice that?

More Finnish pop rock, 51koodia

KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

I don't quite see how you can call Poets of the Fall and 51Koodia (granted I've only just listened to the song posted) pop rock. They might technically be popular in Finland but as far as genre goes it just sounds like alternative to me. More hard rock in the case of 51Koodia.

Well, I only called Poets of the Fall pop rock because they typically employ a somewhat "radio-friendly" sound (at least, I would call it that). Of course, the music's much more interesting than most mainstream radio singles.

I actually quite like a lot of Fieldtriqp's stuff - particularly since most of it's free - you'd be hard-pressed to describe it as dark, but perhaps chillingly melancholic.
