Mazzy Star definitely make the world more tolerable. Among My Swan is great, as is everything else they've done, but She Hangs Brightly is desert island material for me.
Only gonna be of interest to people that like the genre I guess but I've been listening to the new Yen Pox a lot whilst walking around. Can't really remember what came out this year and what was 2014 but it's one of my favourite dark ambient releases of 2015.
This is real good. It's a proggy album that doesn't sound like the '70s or '90s. Better than the last Porcupine Tree and SW album. It's actually pretty jazzy and sexy. You could play this around a girl and not feel like a dork.
